SoundPlanks are typically used in studios, live rooms, mixing rooms, foley studios, even mastering suites. Perfect for absorbing excess bass while keeping the acoustics bright and alive. The SoundPlank controls reverberation and echo signals while a fine-grained, diffusive relection pattern fills the room for a smooth and uniform acoustic signature throughout the room.SoundPlanks can be mounted on flat surfaces such as walls and ceilings, or panelized for easy installation. Various lengths and thicknesses can be ordered to form visually appealing patterns or accomplish specific absorption frequencies. The standard SoundPlank is 6 in. wide x 60 in. long x 2 in. thick and is fully encapsulated by an acoustically transparent membrane to prevent glass fibers from entering your room and comes with a patented built-in diffuser strip and special end hardening to improve durability. Each SoundPlank is covered with fully adhered Guilford fabric. A panelized version of the SoundPlank is offered for recording studios with high sound levels. Each panel is 4 ft. wide x 5 ft. long with SoundPlanks mounted on a fabric covered backer board. The SoundPlanks line up perfectly when installed on a wall. |
