Panel TrapPanel TrapsThe PanelTraps are high quality user installed bass trapping, and flat panels, in one product. The PanelTrap is a simple, versatile solution to improving the acoustics in your studio, mixing room, live room or any room with acoustic needs. The PanelTrap works especially well for midrange and treble control, letting you hear much more sonic detail in both music. Corner loaded bass trapping gives you control of flutter echo and boundary loading problems, mode buildup, standing waves and impulse ringing.

Every PanelTrap has built-in treble diffusion; sound remains "bright" and natural, not the dull acoustic qualities of foam. The PanelTrap is superior to foam in both acoustic quality, bass absorption and flammability.

The PanelTrap is affordable and easy to install. Simply install plastic "U" channel railings and the PanelTrap snaps into place. The components include 2 in. x 16 in. x 5 ft. panels, triangular corner keystone pieces, and end plugs for partial runs. To fit any sized room, each run also includes a custom sized panel.

PanelTrap Specifications

Sure, foam is cheap stuff when compared to fiberglass. But when you compare the absorption of a 1 ft. x 1 ft. x 2 in. test panel, not only is fiberglass more absorptive across the spectrum, it’s still working down in the bass frequencies when foam has given up. The figures cited below are actual test data, not some made up numbers. Clearly, you get more bang for your buck and versatility with the PanelTrap
