The Fractional TubeTrap is used to fine tune room acoustics. Fractional Half & Quarter Round Tube Traps are used to sculpt the acoustic signature of rooms that require both controlled sound and visual integrity. The unique and effective design of Half & Quarter Round Tube Traps combine broadband absorption, diffusion, and directional control of sound reflections to reduce noise levels while maintaining room brightness and enhancing image resolution. This design approach results in compact, modular units that can be placed in patterns on walls, ceilings, and in corners of any room. Fractional TubeTraps have built-in diffusive wide angle treble backscattering above 500Hz and absorption down to 55Hz to maintain room brightness and enhances detail and articulation as well as image resolution. Used mainly by acoustic designers, audio engineers, audiophiles, recording engineers and musicians to customize and fine tune room acoustics. Fractionals are connectable and stackable and can be used practically anywhere you need acoustic control. The Fractional TubeTraps are lab tested and proudly made in the USA.
